Product Review – Charlotte Smedley Make-Up Accessories

When you think of make-up, you generally think of a luscious lipstick or creamy eye palette, but there are some important tools that every girl needs and yet they don’t always spring readily to mind.

When CharlotteSmedley.co.uk sent me their Face Off Makeup Remover I was delighted. This innovative product is the fail-safe way to take your make-up off, whatever your skin type.

The product is basically an incredibly soft mitt that just needs the addition of water to remove all traces of foundation, lipstick and even waterproof mascara. When you first look at the product you can’t believe it really works, but it does! Simply run the cloth under some warm water and rub it in small circles across the face and you will see your make-up disappear. Again, there are no chemicals involved making it friendly for the both the skin and the environment! It is surprisingly effective, and makes applying make-up a much quicker process.

Both items can be easily cleaned with the Makeup Remover being machine washable and tumble dryer safe, whilst the Brush Cleaner just needs the occasional wash with fragrance-free soap. The prices are favourable, with the Brush Cleaner costing just £9.99 and the Makeup Remover ranging from £11.99 to £14.99. When you consider how much use you will get out of these compared with re-stocking traditional cleaning and removal products, these look reasonable.
