Product Review – Living Nature Lipstick

No make-up look is complete without the addition of a good lipstick, so when Living Nature offered to let me try some of their new organic lipsticks in my favourite colours, I couldn’t resist.

The Colours

The two red lipsticks were Pure Passion which has a crimson undertone and Wild Fire with more orange hues. Despite appearing quite dark, both shades are much brighter when applied to the lips due to the striking colour traces that both have.

Personally I am a lover of gloss lipsticks but being matte doesn’t stop them from still being really vibrant. I sometimes find that matte lipsticks can have a drying effect on the lips but that isn’t the case with these Living Nature lipsticks which you hardly know you are wearing.

Credentials

Living Nature pride themselves on their responsible and organic products and these lipsticks are no exception. They are not only certified organic but are also carmine-free, instead using clever natural plant ingredients, including Melia Azadirachta and Coccinia Indica. Wear

The lipsticks are light and comfortable to wear and last well. Like most lipsticks they need reapplying after a meal but they survive general wear quite well. Brands who want offer products which are kind to the planet and the consumer can often play things a little safe, but Living Nature have ensured that anyone who wants to buy responsibly can also enjoy some really on-trend shades.

Overall, these vibrant lipsticks will add a wonderful nourishing splash of colour to your make-up bag. At £19.50 each they are on the expensive side, but you can be sure that you are investing in something beautiful that is also kind to the planet and your lips.
