Product Review – Palmer’s Olive Oil Formula Deep Conditioner

0

As someone with long, coloured hair I have always needed a good conditioner, so I was eager to try the Palmer’s Olive Oil Formula Deep Conditioner.

The product promises a deep repairing treatment thanks to the antioxidant rich Extra Virgin Olive Oil contained within it. I tend to find that the ends of my hair can be quite dry. My hair is not only long but thick too, and so it can take quite a bit of taming. The product is for use after shampooing and needs to be run through the hair and left for 2-5 minutes before rinsing.

The conditioner itself is thick and creamy, meaning it feels lovely to apply to the hair and very luxurious. It rinses out easily and my hair was left feeling smoother instantly. It does have quite a soapy scent which lingers for a few hours, but this is not necessarily a bad thing.

Whilst the promised shine did not appear instantly, it did develop as I continued to use the conditioner.

After using the conditioner three times over the space of a week, I noticed my hair had more life and shine and was much easier to manage. There were noticeably fewer flyaway hairs and it became far easier to put a brush through.

After suffering the ravages of winter weather and central heating my hair has felt dry and lifeless, so this is definitely a product I would use again when my hair needs a little reinvigorating.

Palmer’s Olive Oil Formula Deep Conditioner comes in 60g sachets and you can find retailers at uk.palmers.com.
